Alpine Fire‑Tite Rolling Overhead Doors are designed to be used as part of a passive fire protection system reducing the spread of fire or smoke in order to enable safe egress from all types of structures including commercial buildings, industrial units, or ships.
Fire‑Tite doors have the same stylish appearance as standard Alpine overhead roll up service doors, and can be operated manually or be motor‑driven - Automatic Fire Door models deploy when fusible links melt at 165°F.
Fire‑Tite uninsulated doors are available with either Galvanized Steel or 300‑Series Stainless Steel curtains in various finishes, including a popular range of powder‑coated colors.

These UL, ULC, and Factory Mutual labeled doors, are rated to provide fire protection for up to 4 hours, and an Oversize Overhead Door Certificate can be provided for fire doors exceeding 162 sq ft area or 13’6" (wide) x 12’0" (high). Fire‑Tite insulated overhead doors are also listed with New York MEA for steel roll up doors.
Fire‑Tite fire door headers are protected by a 22 gauge steel hood that is formed to fit the contour of the end brackets, and an optional internal flame baffle is available. The state‑of‑the‑art Alpine torsion counterbalance assembly provides maximum security and ease of use, and these fire‑safe doors may be interior or exterior mounted. Optional hot‑dipped end locks, and windlocks are also available.
Alpine Fire‑Storm Wind‑Resistant Fire Doors
Alpine Fire‑Storm Fire Doors offer the same proven fire‑protection of a Fire‑Tite door, combined with a Windlock System that can provide high wind load resistance (for up to 153 mph windstorms). These fire doors are available with Oversize UL label up to 20' x 30' in size and a wide variety of curtain colors.
Auto Fire‑Tite Doors
Alpine Auto Fire‑Tite Fire‑Rated Doors
Auto Fire‑Tite Doors are modified Fire‑Tite doors that feature controlled Automatic Operation using Redi‑Reset (Alpine Models FS, NFS, FDC, or FDCL) Door Operators. Redi‑Reset Operators eliminate the need for manual door resets following emergency activation or routine drop testing.
Auto Fire‑Tite fire door operation may be triggered by input signals coming from smoke detectors, fire alarms or any other signaling alarms.
Auto Fire‑Tite Model doors are also labeled for 4 hours of fire‑rated protection by UL, ULC, FM, and New York MEA.

This 7⁄8" thick insulation has (ASTM E‑84) Surface Burning Characteristics of: Flame Spread = 0, and Smoke Developed = 0.
Fire‑Tite IMB door insulation is FM Approved and UL / ULC, Classified for up to 4 hours of fire protection, and Oversize UL label is available for IMB doors up to 56' x 30' in size.
