Qompact and AL7E Slats are extruded Aluminum single wall slats that roll up into small head boxes.
US60 and AL2E Slats are extruded Aluminum double wall slats (AL2E features daylight slits).
P55 Slat is a PVC double wall slat (for improved thermal insulation) with aluminum retainer bars.

Vision Profile Slats are made by punching designed slots into AL7E slats in order to allow visibility through the shutter when in the closed position:

AL7E Slats are extruded Aluminum single wall slats that roll up into small head boxes. Vision Profile Slats come with punched holes for visibility - choose from 3 punch pattterns:

P11 4 in x 1.5 in punches
P21 1.75 in x 1.5 in punches
P51 5 continuous alternating rows of 0.25 in x 0.25 in punches

P51 Vision Slat Curtains have become highly popular because the multiple small punched holes enable excellent vision with high security. Ropes or chains cannot be attached through the small holes and bolt cutters are too large to use on them.

QMI HomeSafe solid profile & vision profile rollup security curtain shutters

QMI Qompact Slats use an innovative arrangement of up to 10 different slats, each gradually increasing size and radius, that cleverly stack to minimize their nested diameter when rolled closed.

As a result, the Qompact shutter rolled coil size is significantly smaller than traditional rolling shutter curtain slats, enabling a 30‑50% reduced box housing size. This much smaller box gives you increased flexibility for soffit mounting and provides significantly less distraction from your home's architecture.

Qompact Security Shutters are available in areas up to 180 sq ft (32 m²) in total size, in heights up to 200 in (5 m) and widths up to 240 in (6 m).

Qompact Security Shutters are made from extruded 6063‑T5 Aluminum alloy for supreme security and lightweight operation. They are currently life cycle tested to 15500 operations (equivalent to 42 years average use) and still going strong.

QMI StormSafe Security Mesh Screens are made from high quality Stainless Steel to provide powerful security protection with minimal visual impact.

The Security Mesh has an appearance similar to that of a bug screen. It has a muted black finish that enables people to see through it toward the greatest degree of light. This makes daytime views to the outside clear and unobstructed.
